The CSIRC website was created by the Los Alamos National Laboratory Nuclear Criticality Safety group ( HSR-6 ) as a web portal to provide the nuclear criticality safety community with a central location for accessing criticality safety related information.

This site is not associated with any particular organization. Its success depends on the NCS community input, support, and use.

The news section contains current news items related to criticality safety as submitted by users.

Library
The library contains information previously available at the CSIRC website and will be continually updated as old and new information is converted into electronic format. Any documents that can aid the NCS practitioner should be available in the library.

Training
Criticality safety related training is offered at various facilities. This section is available to provide links to relevant courses.

Codes and Tools
A major part of being a criticality safety engineer is the use of computer codes and other computer tools. Links to such websites are found here.

Calendar
The calendar will contain information on upcoming major events such as meetings and paper submission deadlines.

Any organization or person that has relevant information related to criticality safety and would like to would like to have it made available on the web may do so at this site. Just email us.
